The Pink Snapdragons launch their calendar for 2010 on Thursday night, October 15 at the Moreton Bay Boat Club, Bird O’ Paradise Parade, Scarborough at 6.30 for 7pm. Their aim is to raise enough money to fund a trip to Canada where they will take part in the International Dragonboat Festival for breast cancer survivors in June 2010. Inspired by the movie ‘Calendar Girls’,photographer Rosie Bozzi recruited a cast of talented volunteers to create this cheeky and cheerful calendar.

All are welcome to the launch to enjoy a drink on arrival, nibblies and dancing. The ‘Pink Ladies’ as they are affectionately known will show us all how to party! RSVP to caroline@penson.ph
