The Kosi Collection of rugs has been made by traditional artisans who know the art of fine handcrafted rugs and pass on their expertise from generation to generation.

The Kosi Collection, which has been named after an Indian river, is made up of a stunning new range of rugs that are handmade in a small town called Bhadohi, Northern India by traditional artisans. It’s a natural collaboration for Founder and Creative Director of Boyd Blue, Shelley Boyd, who actively works with artisan communities worldwide in the creation of the incredible Boyd Blue furnishing collections.

These authentic luxury rugs are hand woven with 100% New Zealand wool and ‘polished’ which means they have a beautiful sheen from having been washed several times to remove impurities and excess fibers.

“This sophisticated collection represents the very best in hand woven rugs,” says Shelley, who is well known for sourcing only the highest quality, authentic products. “The high quality ‘polished’ wool has a luxe and unique point of difference. The artisans who create each piece inherited a craft, a craft which is their life.”

Boyd Blue are dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of fine craftsmanship and all their products are handmade by traditional artisans and globally sourced for Australia’s leading Interior Designers. Every piece is completely unique and unlike any other.
