Photographer, stylist, antiques maven and all round inspiration, Kara Rosenlund rates right up there as our total style crush. She’s known as a master of vignettes with an eye for detail and a natural flair for making magic out of everyday objects, and is a regular teacher at Megan Morton’s styling workshop, The School.

In demand and incredibly busy between her photographic assignments, intrepid travels and her gypsy-inspired Travelling Wares business (selling vintage collectables out of her beloved 50s-era caravan, Frankie), Kara is in demand and ever-inspiring.

As part of ‘The Creatives’ profile series in Queensland Homes, Kara let us inside her beautiful workers cottage in Brisbane for an insight into her life and style. You loved it so much (and so did we!), we thought it high time to share some more images –  all photographed by Rosenlund herself.
