Queensland Homes would like to say a huge thank you to the very talented interior design students from Torrens University Australia, Billy Blue College of Design and CATC Design School for the incredible support and creative assistance in designing our stand at Furnitex, which was held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre in July 2016.
The team of students were responsible for creating three unique looks for Queensland Homes, Queensland Interior Decorator’s Association (QIDA) and Buywood Furniture‘s combined floor space at the event. It was a mammoth task, but they transformed the zones and coordinated a look that would tie the three brands together cohesively. The students worked with the furniture makers at Buywood Furniture’s own workshop, so it was a real team effort.
Much of the furniture and accessories were sourced from some of our favourite local brands and agencies, including beautiful furniture from Domo, Wisteria and Brave Design, Swann Agencies and The Rug Establishment, Harvey Norman Aspley for the AV, and fabric from 3Beaches and Charles Parsons for the hand-crafted panelled walls.
