Melding design innovation with aesthetic rigour, the latest outdoor furniture designs from 100-year-old Spanish brand POINT are arriving in Australia this month, exclusively at DOMO, bringing dining and lounge ranges with exquisite, sensual finishes and comfort to the centre stage.
The new POINT collections have been created by long-lasting partnerships with architects plus industrial and interior designers, including Alfonso Gallego (whose collaborative relationship spans over 20 years), Vicent Martínez, Christophe Pillet, Gabriel Teixidó and Francesc Rifé. Their designs imbue the distilled essence of the century-old design house\’s pedigree founded upon considered proportion, premium materials treated to weather outdoor conditions, including sustainably sourced grade-A teak, plus treated aluminium and iron.
Woven textile selections have evolved from POINT\’S heritage plant-based rattan designs to the development of synthetic textiles, including Shintotex® in more recent years – a highly flexible, durable and weather-resistant fibre that mimics the aesthetic appeal of natural materials and features in over 90% of their ranges.
While more than 300 products and over 40 collections make up POINT\’s design portfolio, the latest six new collections arriving at DOMO take it to the next level of comfort and style – from highly resolved sleek outdoor lounges that cradle ultra-soft cushioned landings within crisp steel frames to intricately entwined rope features and playful biomorphic forms.
