Showcasing Greg Natale’s inimitable flair for pattern and colour, the New Wave collaboration for Designer Rugs represents another evolution in the design journey of one of Australia’s best designers.
Following on from Natale’s previous Designer Collection for Designer Rugs, which was far more Deco in theme, New Wave embraces the vibrant hues and geometrics of the Memphis movement and the work of one of the group’s most prominent and influential designers, Ettore Sottsass. Motifs also reference the architecture of Louis Khan and his use of symbolism, while a splatter design offsets the crisp geometric shapes.
All seven designs in the New Wave series of rugs by Greg Natale for Designer Rugs can be custom coloured, shaped and sized to suit any space. The collection is punctuated by a contemporary palette of cool blues, greens and lilacs teamed with earthy tones, mesmerising colour gradients, and stronger block colours, making for a lively addition to any modern interior.
