Designed by Kim Duffin from Sublime Architectural Interiors, this innovative kitchen space needed to suit a young family who loves to entertain, but still have all the style and sophistication to match a home that features luxury fixtures and fittings.
The kitchen has been designed to function as multiple work zones (food storage, prep, cooking, clean up and serving), with a free flow from the pantry to the feature table. Incorporating different materials, technology and lighting effects create visual impact.
High on the family’s wish list was a spacious island fitted out specifically for cooking, so the cook stays connected with the other kitchen users and those in the living rooms.
Strip lighting, used to highlight the detail in the space, glows in a hue to suit your mood or occasion. Even the island table, in Caesarstone Concetto White Quartz, has been backlit!
The lighting is controlled using a C-Bus panel, which also controls all the window furnishings, temperature and security throughout the entire home.
It’s yet another example of the Sublime signature – innovative, exceptional quality and design that defies the ordinary.
