Landscape Queensland Industries Association Inc., a state industry governing body, is on top of all matters related to outdoor design.
Formerly the Association of Queensland Landscape contractors, Landscape Queensland was established in 1983 with the mission of embodying the Queensland government’s objectives in the landscaping industry. Environmental issues over the years have led the association towards promoting sustainable landscaping practices among its member-companies and their clients. The Association is also a member of Timber Queensland, Work Safe QLD, and the Urban Development Institute of Australia-Queensland.
The Association also looks out for the industry writ large. The group supports industry stakeholders at federal and national level, while also educating the general public on the benefits that proper landscaping can bring to your home and the community.
There’s much to look forward to with networking under Landscape Queensland’s banner. The association standardises landscaping contracts and has a stringent accreditation system for contractors. Member-companies can also access new skills-development programmes and to learn more about the latest landscaping trends.
The Association can help fulfil your needs in the landscaping circuit, whether as a client looking to hire a contractor, or a contractor aiming for accreditation and wishing to further develop trade skills, or a home owner looking for that all-important recognition when choosing the right landscaper for their project.
