A design ecosystem has been established by landscape designer, John Scomparin and landscape maintenance manager, Andrew Taylor at the home of their multi award-winning business, Outside Noosa.
At its heart is a passion for contemporary design that is sure to capture the attention of the Sunshine Coast’s builders and renovators alike.
Their exciting new collaboration involved sourcing a tight-knit, in-house design team that is more than capable of meeting clients’ needs, literally from the inside out. The team – including building designer Steve Campbell, builder Arthur Cross and landscape architect Abi Leybourne – complements the range of comprehensive services that had already been available, including landscape design, construction and maintenance services.
Another exciting addition to the design studio and showroom is In Noosa Design, which has interior designer Philip Cornish at the helm. This team work synergistically to achieve aesthetic and functional excellence for each of their valued clients. They’re available by appointment to discuss any design needs or projects you have in mind, so for those preparing to build or renovate it’s an ideal opportunity to meet and flesh out ideas or get some design inspiration, whether it’s in-situ or within their design resource library.
Indeed, many visitors revel in surprise and delight when they discover the treasure trove of design elements that has been created. With new installations and stock arriving regularly, the team is able to showcase many unique products and source many more. Boutique artisan renders, natural stone and tile tempters, custom-built gazebos, photographers and craftsmen all find an ideal display space here. An ever-changing array of locally crafted and Italian outdoor furniture, designer rug samples, soft furnishings and boutique garden wares complete the picture.
Chief amongst these wares are contemporary ‘hero’ garden features from the award-winning Entanglements garden metal art. Established in 1998, Entanglements have been the pioneers of this form of artistic expression and continue to be leaders rather than followers, honing the design and manufacture of metal wall art, light boxes, garden screens, fireplaces, water features and metal sculptures.
You’ll also find new landscape pieces by revered Queensland artist, Tracey Keller, who draws inspiration from the natural environment. Also taking pride of place are pieces that conform to Tracey’s signature style – joyful, vibrant animal paintings – that are collected internationally. Tracey has curated this collection especially for Outside Noosa, which is her only Noosa stockist. If you can’t make it into the showroom, indulge in some retail therapy online at innoosadesign.com
