The Bahamas House, set in beautiful Port Douglas, was a dream project that came to life for Blue Moon and their clients, Sanctuary Villas.
The total fit out of this house took more than nine months of collaboration with Indonesian manufacturers and artists. And the result is truly spectacular.
Director, Jenny Wall travelled to Java and Bali to ensure the quality and finish of the furniture and finishings.
Hard furniture was manufactured in Central Java and the striking artwork was commissioned in Bali.
Individual furniture pieces such as the exotic four poster antique bed in the Raj Room, was found in Yogayakarta.
The same supplier also made the carved teak pineapple side table. The outdoor oval sun beds, pool loungers and gazebo furniture was also manufactured to suit. Jenny’s local sewing room created all the indoor and outdoor cushions with Tommy Bahama’s fabric.
